Job Description

A diversified commercial and consumer bank is seeking a Regulatory Liaison Analyst.

The role can also be titled Legal & Compliance Support Analyst.

The Analyst will be working with both the bank's Legal and Compliance departments to ensure that law enforcement cases, civil and criminal litigation and government/regulator investigations are handled in accordance with the bank's internal policies and procedures and relevant laws.

The Regulatory Liaison Analyst will:

Track and resolve cases to comply with service level agreements

Handle cases related to confidential and/or sensitive subject matters

Coordinate with multi-team partners to resolve requests and improve policy, procedures, and tooling

Engage with law enforcement agencies to respond or assist in document production in support of Legal and Compliance

Maintain domain knowledge, including relevant strategies, challenges, laws, and regulations

Maintain tracking schedule for all agreements

Create and maintain detailed and organized summaries, file histories, and change logs for each agreement

Conduct ad-hoc projects as determined by Legal and Compliance

Bonus points for negotiation experience

Qualifications/Skills:

BA/BS degree OR equivalent work experience

5+ years in compliance, legal, policy or privacy role

Strong attention to detail/ability to prioritize tasks

Critical thinking skills and ability to retain complex work direction

Team-oriented with a passion for optimizing collaboration

Demonstrated coordination and project management skills

Highly organized and motivated

Working knowledge of MS Office, Google Docs, or equivalent
