Our client has an urgent need for a Senior Software Developer who specializes in Ruby on Rails. The ideal candidate will have experience with creative tools and Mobile/Web development. This person should be a self-starter who is able to work with limited guidance. They're also looking for someone who is willing to push the boundaries & deliver quality results for their team.
Requirements:
- Ruby on Rails
- Sidekiq, Redis, PostgreSQL
- RESTful APIs
- Object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis
- AWS infrastructure products
- Web Accessibility Standards
- JIRA
Job Duties:
- Delivering reusable, elegant, and clean Ruby on Rails code
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Educating and mentoring other engineers
- Conducting code reviews and pair programing
- Providing technical leadership
- Scoping and estimating technical requirements
- Working on a diverse range of projects
- Time management and problem-solving
Preferred:
- React / Redux / VUE on the front-end
- Native Mobile Development, iOS & Android
- This position requires at least 5 years of experience, preferably in a product company or agency environment.
