SUMMARY - Systems Engineer

We are a small Managed Service Provider in the process of growing. This position can ideally turn in to a lead Position for the right person, with the right Technical vision.

Is creative and LOVES architecture, planning, implementation, and HANDS-ON support

Wants to be involved in ALL aspects of IT

Wants to be a senior member of a tightknit, high-performing team that ENJOYS their jobs

Technical Skills (in no specific priority order)

Cisco Networking - WAN, LAN, Wireless, VOIP, Routers, Firewalls, Switches, and VPNs (site-to-site and remote access).

Exchange – multi-site, McAfee MX Logic

Microsoft Servers – Active Directory, Policies, Scripting

EMC SAN – new VNX 5300s replicating between primary and DR sites

Virtualization – VMware and Microsoft

Blade Servers - Client BladeSystem and / or Cisco UCS

Application Virtualization – Citrix

Backup and Recovery – Backup Exec

Security – Trend Micro, RSA SecurID

Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery

Automation

SQL Server (nice to have / learning opportunity)

SharePoint (nice to have / learning opportunity)

Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (nice to have / learning opportunity)

Linux (nice to have / learning opportunity)

Non-Technical Skills (in priority order)

Capacity planning
