Job Description

The IT Business Analyst serves as the conduit between the customer community and the development team.

Work with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.

Heavy external vendor interface and deep understanding of sales drivers and reporting.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Support Sales and Marketing teams with key performance indicators to increase sales

Interface with solution vendor to drive sales drivers into reporting application

Implement the development of system enhancements, key analytics and reporting drivers to achieve and deliver the strategic business reporting

Support the business in managing the migration of new data sets or upgrades to externally hosted system

Perform quality control checks to ensure migration integrity

Data testing

Conduct training courses

Implement and track application budgets and compliance

Act as a Helpdesk to user base support the user community

Vendor Relationship management

Function as liaison to multiple units, serving as a point of contact for issue reporting, tracking resolution and validation

Define business processes, conduct workshops

Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.

Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the business requirements documents
