Infinity Consulting Solutions (ICS) is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer for a client if ours in the Jersey City area.

Job Description: Ability to consultatively articulate complex technical findings to more experienced management in clear, concise, understandable terms

- Proficient knowledge and understanding in the

following key areas:

- Hardware Architecture (performance testing, monitoring, operations)

- Hardware Benchmarking (Agile, program managements, network management)

- Design (compliance, security)

- Network Engineering (planning, provision)

- Proficient in more than one specific infrastructure technology

- Executes against understanding of best practices and Banking policies

As an SRE engineer you will be part of the operations team responsible for investigating incidents, provide solutions and build robust automation solutions to improve efficiency, reduce response & recovery times which would involve a wide variety of solutions from simple scripts to complex application features, reports and dashboards and leverage Robotics where applicable.

Responsibilities

” Identify opportunities, design and build solutions to improve efficiency of operations

” Resolving incidents for systems in production (Voice & Voice recording)

” Work as hands-on operations engineer as required

” Building new and redeveloping existing applications to include new features, bug fixes and APIs

” Design and development of scalable applications / toolsets for automation, reporting, metadata, NTFS permissions, data migrations etc

” Perform technical log analysis, identify root cause, implement preventive measures

” Work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

Requirements

” BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject

” 8+ years of software development experience

” Proven working experience in Software Development, Production Engineering, Operations

” Experience with Agile Methodologies, Pair Programming, CI and Test Driven Development

” Expertise in application, data and infrastructure disciplines

” Knowledge of Voice and Voice recording applications (preferred)

” Design and build advanced web applications, APIs.

” Expert knowledge of OOPs & Java, Python, Power Shell

” Work with outside data sources and API’s, Rest/SOAP APIs

” Experience in XHTML/HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS, XML, JSON, or other Web technologies is a great plus.

” Very good debugging skills to solve complex problems without much assistance.

” Continuously Client, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

” Working knowledge of application integration, collaboration, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies

” A passion for creative solutions for difficult problems

” Very strong technical, analytical, problem solving, written and verbal skills
