    Systems Support Analyst

    White Plains, NY

    Full Time

    $70K-$80K + OT + Bonus

    This newly created growth position is an opportunity for a Systems Support Analyst role within the Systems Infrastructure department in Technology.

    You will work in a fast-paced team environment supporting our Trading floor, middle, and back office users.

    The position will be primarily located in the White Plains office, with time also being spent in the New York office.

    Reponsibilities:

    As first level support, you will be responsible for fielding and resolving user inquiries.

    You will answer, resolve, and document issues either on the phone, or during a desk side visit.

    You must have the ability to identify and organize problem tickets with priority, and route to the appropriate staff if needed.

    The candidate should have knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), desktops, printers, laptops, mobile devices.

    You will be responsible for creating/maintaining documentation and FAQs.

    The candidate will have ample opportunity for cross training and technical growth. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious self-starter that takes the initiative.

    Responsible for following established guidelines and identifying and resolving problems to work flow or process change and redesign, and to form a strong basic understanding of the specific products or processes.

    May also be accountable for regular reporting or process administration

    Identify and resolve support issues

    Desk side support for applications

    Log and track all user request using the Ticketing Database.

    Setup and deploy new workstations: operating system installs, application installations, configuration and testing.

    Installing software, patches, and updates on workstations and laptops

    Troubleshooting and replacing hardware

    Troubleshooting basic network, software, and printing problems

    Managing Users and Computers through Active Directory

    Candidate should possess a strong knowledge of networking, and an understanding of
    Windows registry, user administration, NTFS security, performance monitoring and reporting.

    Preferred :

    Knowledge of Windows server platforms a plus

    Experience with Market Data Applications (Bloomberg, Reuters)

    Remote Access setup and troubleshooting via Citrix

    Special Requirements (heavy lifting, excessive overtime, etc.)

    Installation of PCs and printers may be required.

    Provide early or late coverage (7am-3pm OR 10am-7pm)

    Weekend and night work may be needed at times based on project, support, and business needs
