Software Technical Writer We are working with a client in the northern burbs of Chicago. They are currently looking for a Software Technical Writer to develop documentation for one of their systems. This is a contract position that has been approved and budgeted for and hope to have someone start as soon as possible. The Software Technical Writer must be local and sit onsite to work with Developers and other stakeholders. Skills: Bachelors degree highly preferred 1-3 years of professional Technical Writing experience - Software documentation Experience creating Technical documentation independently Excellent verbal communication skills are required Strong organizational skills Strong attention to detail Good judgment Strong interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Able to work harmoniously and effectively with others Able to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion Able to work under pressure Able to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities
