Are you looking to challenge yourself and work with skilled engineers? Are you interested in building scalable micro services and cloud architecture? If so, this role might be the one for you.

Our client is looking for a skilled software architect that has experience with AWS cloud architecture and modern software development frameworks.

This person will be crucial to building our clients cutting edge servicing platform.

As a key member of the team, you will be appointed to setting the roadmap for cloud architecture and be a major contributor to researching and defining requirements, building prototypes and MVPS, delivering high quality production services and the evolution of our cloud infrastructure and delivery pipeline.

Responsibilities:

Design technical architecture, including system, infrastructure, and data

Develop solutions that contribute to enterprise class integration and middleware software
development best practices, standards and procedures.

Define solutions using micro services architecture patterns, automating business process models, API enabled gateways and cloud-based services

Assesses business problems and system needs. Identify and build architectural enablers

Collaborate effectively with others to solve complex problems and resolve technological disagreement with informed, rational and collaborative solutions

Apply proven delivery methodologies including Agile/Scrum

Maintain knowledge of current and emerging technologies, industry trends and standards

Share Knowledge, mentor and provide technical guidance to the development team as needed

Participate in team planning sessions and provide effort estimates and timeline commitments

Advocate, design, promote and support Continuous Delivery

Qualifications:

Building and Maintaining highly scalable distributed systems

experience with RESTful API's and micro services on AWS

Experience Securing APIs with JWT, SCIM, OpenID and OAUTH

Experience with DevOps orchestration tools

Experience with AWS cloud services

Strong understanding of infrastructure components and how they are architected in AWS

Messaging and Event Sourcing

AWS Certifications

Education:

BS / MS in Computer Science, Engineering, related discipline or equivalent experience
