    Payroll System Analyst

    Payroll System Analyst General Summary:

    The Payroll Systems Analyst is responsible for being the system administrator of the ADP eTime Time & Attendance system, the Reflexis Field Operations PayCalc engine, and The ADP Connect interface from Oracle HR.

    This person will also assist in creating process improvements for the department regarding, but not limited to, system implementations, internal controls and current processes.

    This person must have an understanding of key processes and procedures of the payroll department in order to enhance standardize, update and maintain the payroll systems.

    The Payroll Systems Analyst will be working with a team to gather requirements and assist in configuration of time/attendance rules and/or pay policies within software or coordinate with third party vendors to ensure successful creation/integration of such.
    This person will be in contact with all financial and human resource departments, all levels of management, internal and external auditors, tax, and Tech professionals.

    Payroll System Analyst Key Responsibilities:

    Assist Payroll Manager on payroll strategy initiatives

    Maintain and support ADP eTime Time & Attendance system,

    Maintain and support the Reflexis Field Operations PayCalc engine

    Maintain and support the ADP Connect Oracle HR to ADP interface

    Analyze data, reports, processes for issues and advise management

    Participate in year-end processes to ensure accurate reporting of all employee data

    Meet with business partners to gain understanding of business requirements

    Oversight of configuration of time and attendance rules

    Configure new rule or change existing rule within time and attendance system or work with vendor to ensure configuration and testing of rules

    Provide data mapping between Oracle HR modules and ADP for employee changes such as promotions, salary increases, departmental moves, etc.

    Identify process improvement from end to end for payroll

    Work with Manager of Payroll to implement aforementioned improvements

    Payroll System Analyst Experience Required:

    Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (Accounting or Finance degree preferred)

    3+ years of accounting, finance or audit experience or relevant IT experience

    Experience with Oracle HR modules and ADP’s PayForce, ADP eTIME, and ADP Connection

    Knowledge of time and attendance and payroll concepts

    Aptitude with ERP systems with ability to exploit and promote standard functionality of the system

    Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

    Project Management experience
