QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER
Lewisville, TX
6+ month contract to hire
We are hiring a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer for a contract to hire position in Lewisville, TX!
What You'll Do:
Test multiple complex applications and provides subject matter expertise to set direction and create test strategies and test plans for one or more releases of an application.
Participate in cross-functional discussions to review the impact of application changes from both internal and external interfaces on the quality of their applications.·
Work with application development teams to participate in solution design to ensure testability of functions and applications.
Identify areas for improving efficiency,shortening of test cycles, and automation of test scripts
Facilitate implementation of automated test scripts. Has significant interaction with internal customers.
Skills/Experience You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or another relative field
5+ years of Quality Assurance testing
2+ years of experience with Load Runner
Experience with Selenium, Cucumber and/or Gherkin highly preferred
Java experience preferred
Expert in QA Automation and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems/infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects across
Banking
Working knowledge of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test
Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, security
QA Automation Specialist / Equities
