Job Description:

Independently design, develop and enhance software computer programs, databases objects, and technical software design documentation using advanced knowledge of customer needs and product applications; understand and promote the software development life cycle process and perform other related work as necessary.

Responsibilities:

Design/Development:

Designs & Develops detailed software and database design specifications based on functional and technical specifications.

Review requirement specifications to produce functional design and/or detailed software design, which optimizes resource usage, considers the customer upgrade path, and clearly enhances system controls and integrity

Ability to analyze detail design specifications, provide feedback, and perform the work required from the design.

Lead and collaborate with other developers

Maintains and optimizes database systems and analyzes database usage

Experience, Knowledge and Education:

Minimum of 4-6 years of experience developing and maintaining complex applications.

Minimum 4-6 years of experience in Microsoft technologies

Minimum 3+ years of experience in C#.Net Form and MVC, or VB.Net Windows form, ADO.Net

Minimum 3+ years SQL Server experience including relational database concepts

Minimum 1-year Web Service development experience (SOAP-XML; Restful-JSON, XML)

Minimum 1-year Experience developing and maintaining Microsoft SSIS, SSRS processes, Web
Service APIs (SOAP-XML; Restful-JSON, XML), Microsoft and processes using Entity Framework

Agile SDLC (SCRUM, Kanban) experience

Understands Database Design and application database interaction best practices (4 normal
form, Party Pattern), SOA and Object-Oriented Concepts

Experience with Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of Carrier Transportation Process/System, Accounting concepts

Knowledge of Microsoft SSIS, SSRS

Knowledge of Database Design Strategies (Relational 4 normal form, Object Party Pattern),

Experience developing and maintaining SiteFinity .Net applications

Experience developing and maintaining decision support application using Business Objects
/ Data Warehouse / Fact Tables / Dimensions.

Experience of Mobile Technology development

Experience developing and maintaining PHP and Java applications

Education Preferred:

- Educational attainment equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science,
Information Systems or related field.

Certificates, Licenses and Memberships:

Microsoft Certified Professional preferred.
