Job Description
Responsibilities:
Perform audit projects from planning to reporting and deliver a quality product in line with department standards
Finalize audit findings and use judgment to provide an overall opinion on the control environment
Partner with colleagues, regulators, clients and control community members to develop, evaluate, test and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of control environment.
Stay up to date with evolving regulatory, industry and market events impacting the firm’s risk organization.
Demonstrate integrity, respect, excellence, and innovation in all your actions
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, Economics or related discipline, or relevant financial services experience
2+ years’ experience, or comparable experience through coursework, internship or volunteer experience, in a Financial Services firm or in public accounting, with an
appropriate level of exposure
Knowledge of banking industry preferred
Ability to execute audit assignments
Ability to manage tasks concurrently in an efficient and effective manner with supervision as needed
Perform audit work in accordance with department and professional standards and complete assignments in an efficient manner
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, assuming responsibility for own work and assisting colleagues as needed
Intermediate to Advanced desktop skills in products to support the above (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
