Sr. Software Engineer

Boulder, CO

Full-Time/Permanent

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join us in our beautiful Boulder office.
We are developing world-class software engineering practices to solve complex Content Lifecycle Management (CLM) issues with some of the most complex problem spaces in industry today.

Our solutions include: technical engineering change order management, documentation authoring and publishing, flight operations manuals, data archiving, and other workflow, documentation and maintenance products.

As a Senior Software Engineer:

You will design and develop software components of our products with a strong emphasis on terrific code, performance, error handling, commenting and validation.

You will become an expert on the solutions you are working on and you prepare the user stories and necessary test scenarios with a strong eye on quality.

You determine task assignments and assist the development team as necessary.

You follow our best practices and communicate issues quickly so that the project goals can be met.

You will mentor developers on coding standards and lead the way to keeping a high standard around methodology, standards, delivery times and documentation.

You have strong analytical skills and can easily comprehend complex IT solutions.

You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English

You have 6 or more years of experience in one or more of the following:

Object oriented design

Relational database design

Experience in the full development cycle, from requirements analysis through operations and maintenance

You have strong hands-on experience with:

Java

XML technologies (XPath, XQuery, XSL)

XML databases

You have consulting experience and understand the concept of "time is money "

Experience with as many of the following is a plus:

HTML5/CSS3

JavaScript/TypeScript, AngularJS, Angular 2+

Spring/Spring Boot

Linux, Windows

Agile development methodology
