We’ve been one of the fastest growing companies here in the Colorado area for the past several years and have expanded to have a national presence with our A/V, Telecom and Security services.
We’re seeking an experienced Security Project Manager who will be managing numerous projects specifically on the installation of physical secruity and electronics products for our customers in Commercial, Data Centers and Govornment.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr. Project Manager will be the main interface for assigned strategic customer accounts accountable for driving sales, operations and project management.
This individual assures on-time delivery of services to customers while managing and ensuring all facets of high-quality projects are delivered on budget and within schedule resulting in superior customer satisfaction.
Manage the technical installation and coordination of integrated security electronics and designs and specifications.
Secruity Project Manager Job Description:
The Project Manager oversees the technical installation and coordination of integrated security electronics and designs and specifications Responsible for preparation of written reports, progress tracking data, and completion updates/forecasts.
Directs all home office/field based service activities including the construction and material coordination effort as well as post-construction programs including and redline/as-built drafting.
Coordinates field construction performance and budgetary/schedule goals by directing and/or performing multi-discipline engineering and by exercising great latitude of independent judgment.
Project Manager Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Be a voice in the strategic planning phase of upcoming projects
Assist execution of the management plan for assigned projects
Assist with coordinating and managing projects from inception to completion
Acts as the company’s point of contact for interface between field supervision and project management, field based Client personnel and any Subcontractors and Vendors
Review project designs and contribute ideas for cutting costs
Implement use cost saving construction techniques/materials, improved safety procedures, and least disruptive construction practices
Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner
Track and directly report project status updates
Help problem solve issues and suggest ways to improve the project
Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents
Enter information into and manage the digital project databases
Assists with assuring compliance to the design documents/specification and resolves any technical issues associated with these documents
Prepares project documents including requests for information, field initiated changes, corrective action requests, field purchase orders/subcontracts and other documentation
Help create, manage, and maintain project budget
Coordinate and execute daily administrative tasks
Schedule and confirm deliveries to field staff
Coordinates material delivery, staging and storage of material and equipment at the home office.
Verifies shipped material is complete, constructed to the specifications and is undamaged
Reviews progress payments based on field completion status and recommends payment authorization
Schedule meetings, phone calls, site visits etc.
Consult with and gather information from technicians, engineers, contractors, etc.
Maintain positive vendor and client relationships
Ensure project adheres to set schedule and is meeting goals of the client
Secruity Project Manager Requirements and Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in an ABET approved Construction Management or Project Management preferred
3+ years of security electronics or commercial/industrial construction project management experience preferred
3+ years experience in project management
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Organized and detail-oriented
Skilled collaborator
Excels in a high-paced work environment
Strong communication skills both oral and written
Ability to multi-task effectively
