INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT MANAGER

Seeking an experienced Project Manager to take on a portfolio of Infrastructure / technical projects which include SaaS based implementations, AWS based cloud deployments, and pure on-prem infrastructure. As the Project Manager you will coordinate, report, and drive delivery of multiple, parallel programs. You will translate technical information and project activities into plans, risks, and reports, determine options, implications, and benefit tradeoffs when program challenges arise and measure and increase team velocity. Excellent communication skills are required as you will be working directly with senior management and multiple internal teams including Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure, 3rd Party SaaS Providers, 3rd Party Professional Services Teams, and Software Development Teams

Responsibilities:

Must have ability to Project Manage multiple, parallel initiatives, managing time and prioritizing investment across portfolio.

Manage programs at milestone level, ensuring delivery at each and/or identifying issue early on.

Quickly derive key tradeoffs and risks to improve project delivery

Ability to undertake program and project management initiatives with clear understanding of

technical services and concepts.

Work effectively with third party providers.

Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn new disciplines and technical concepts, especially AWS

related.

Effectively manage highly technical team members.

Clearly communicate expectations to team members and stakeholders, including presentation

skills, written and verbal to all stakeholders.

Prepare regular status updates and presentations for Project Sponsor and senior management

Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution

Willing to adapt their normal working hours as required to facilitate meetings with European

colleagues

Requirements:

5+ years as a Project Manager in a professional setting

Background managing technical infrastructure projects

Capable of managing multiple projects at one time

AWS Cloud deployments experience

Can work effectively with 3rd party Professional Services firms, SaaS partners, and internal stakeholders.

Effective in SMB (Small / Medium Business) sized entities, with total headcount under 5K

persons.

Desired:

Experience with Workday integration projects

Experience with BlueJeans video conferencing (or other video conferencing providers)

Experience managing financials, including project and capital budgets

Delivery experience within a Shared services environment

Strong organizational and coordination skills are essential as is the ability to multitask and work

with stakeholders in diverse locations

Experience in heterogeneous environments including Windows and Linux
