Information Systems Analyst

Position Responsibilities:
Ensure application systems are effectively developed, tested, and implemented to support increased efficiency and meet the business needs
Responsible for project organization and execution and will participate in design, development, vendor evaluation, implementation, and management of projects.
Understand the business functions the system analyst is assigned to support.
Implement new systems and/or enhancements to existing systems
Help to design and develop and implement new systems this person will be a part of choosing and configuring new hardware and software as well
Install and configure new systems and customize them for the organization
Conduct system testing to ensure that the system works as expected
Train the system’s end users and write instruction manuals
Communicate Issues and Changes - Responsible for proactively communicating upcoming application changes to end users and management
Responsible for the maintenance, support, and operations of software applications.
Responsible for diagnosing and resolving application issues
Accountable for performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operations tasks required for the ongoing functionality of the software applications.
Some programming and debugging duties may be required in order to develop queries/reports of varying complexity and to troubleshoot and fix programmatic issues.
Monitor a project’s progress to ensure that deadlines and objectives are met.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems / Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related field
2+ years of experience as a systems analyst and/or business analyst with project management or
leadership responsibilities.
Experience eliciting/gathering requirements from end users
Experience assisting with application(s) code development & design
Experience working with an ERP System is preferred, but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must
