Job Description

Our Client is a Global Technology Integrator, they have an opportunity available for a Consulting Systems Engineer (Networking) to support their Global Sales team located in New York, NY.

This is an opportunity available for a Consulting Systems Engineer to support our Enterprise Networking Sales team for the New York/ New Jersey region.

This Technical Pre-Sales Engineer will support Enterprise clients in the NY/NJ market. Qualified candidates need to have strong experience in one or more of the following: Enterprise Networking, Internet of Things (IoT), Collaboration, Unified Communication, Security and/or Wireless.

Serve as the technical liaison to all supported clients.

Assist in developing Statements of Work and Bill of Materials

Network design and architecture

Lead conversations with clients around business and technical challenges, goals, and strategies.

Estimate labor hours for Professional Services work.

7+ years of experience designing networking solutions.
Experience supporting enterprise network environments, ideally at the Fortune 500 level.

Strong experience with multiple of the following disciplines: Enterprise Networking, Unified Communications, Internet of Things (IoT), Collaboration, Security, and Wireless.

Ability to travel up to 25% (Local Travel)

Excellent oral and written communication skills, product demonstration skills, customer service skills, and presentation skills are required.

CCIE is preferred (not required).

Experience with either a Cisco Gold Partner, reseller, or systems integrator is strongly preferred.

Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent experience required
