SENIOR TAX ANALYST - INTERNATIONAL TAX

Downtown Dallas, TX

Direct Hire: Base + Bonus

ICS is hiring a Senior Tax Analyst for a Fortune 500 Client in Downtown Dallas! This is a direct hire opportunity within a growing Tax Department.

The Senior Tax Analyst will focus on planning and strategy to assist with multiple income tax matters including tax planning/structuring for M&A opportunities, international compliance/audit, and international corporate income tax provision.

What You'll Do:

Provide tax support on M&A and internal restructuring transactions of all sizes, including assistance with due diligence, structuring, and quantitative analysis of tax consequences in alternative transaction scenarios.

Provide tax support to Treasury, Legal, and Accounting with respect to cross-border activity, including flow of funds (e.g., dividend remittances and intercompany loans) and review of various business arrangements from a tax perspective.

Participate in the preparation of international aspects of the U.S. tax return, including GILTI, earnings and profits/PTEP calculations, subpart F calculations, and the foreign tax credit.

Prepare international tax provision analysis (interim and annual).

Assist with international tax compliance efforts in local jurisdictions, including management of outside service providers and local audits.

Conduct tax research and provides technical support to other personnel, as needed.


Skills/Experience You'll Need:

A minimum of a Masters in Accounting or Taxation or related field is required.

A professional law degree (JD) from an accredited college/university; if no JD, then a CPA designation is required.

6+ years of income tax experience is required or 3+ years of experience with a concentration in either international tax or M&A with a large public accounting firm

Must be able to work effectively with all relevant departments to find solutions that are best from a global perspective

Foundation in U.S. tax, including experience with Subchapters C and K, reorganizations, and entity selection is preferred

Outstanding organizational and time management skills, including prioritization of multiple assignments

Ability to work independently as needed
