COMMERCIAL PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT

Dallas, TX

Base + Bonus

Our Global Real Estate client is looking to add a Commerical Property Accountant to their growing team!

This is a direct hire position with bonus potential and flex scheduling.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Responsible for full-cycle accounting for commercial property portfolio

Manage month-end close process, preparation and entry of monthly journal entries, bank reconciliations, ensure accurate financial data and reporting

Prepare complex journal entries, review of account reconciliations for all appropriate balance sheet accounts

Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements and budget

Work closely with property managers and accounting staff to ensure accuracy

Prepare and review property audit files, assist in external audits

Cash flow files, P&L statements, Balance sheet statements, Revenue recognition

Ad hoc reports

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED:

3+ years of Commercial Property Accounting experience

Commerical Retail or Commercial Office experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline

Advanced Excel, MRI and/or Yardi experience

Development accounting preferred

PMFP certification preferred

Display ability to self-manage and work in a collaborative environment

Interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills
