Software Developer Managers

Provo, Utah

Our client is looking to hire two Software Development Managers to assist in building out new teams for consumer facing product development projects. The technical environment is a mix of Java, React, Angular, Vue and AWS on the public cloud.

Job Duties:

- Deliver world-class software for website brand customers and other internal customers

- Stay hands on to be able to effectively code review, develop PoC’s vetting new approaches and provide day to day input and guidance on the strategic platform development efforts.

- Guide members of the agile team, participate in all activities from planning to delivery.

- Maintain an engaged team with enthusiasm, energy and focus.

- Provide overall and day-to-day technical leadership and mentoring of team members.

- Work closely with other technology leaders and product management on inter-related application domains and features.

- Prepare the planning, design, development, and budgeting of system development projects, as required.

- Manage a team of Full Stack Software Engineers in an Agile environment

Qualifications:

- Prior experience as a Technical Lead, Principal Developer or Software Development Manager

- Minimum of 6-8 years in Development, Engineering and/or Technical Leadership

- Strong technical aptitude with Java

- Strong JavaScript skills

- Any combination of experience with React, Angular, Vue or Node

- Experience with the entire Sotware Development Life Cycle

- Experience in QA Automation and unit test automation

- Expertise in continuous integration and continuous delivery environments

- Understanding of enterprise web architectures

- Passion for delivering quality and useful products to market.

- Outstanding leadership, communication, problem-solving and organization skills.

- Excels at cross-functional collaboration, partnering with internal and external teams for optimal delivery.

- BS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/MIS, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
