Position Overview:

The Software Engineer designs and develops computer programs that automate specific business processes.

Ideal candidates will use existing knowledge and experience in conjecture with problem solving skills to create solutions meeting both internal and external business needs.

A Day in the Life:

You will consult with business analysts to analyze and understand functions that are to be automated, client needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements.

You will write and maintain functional and technical specifications.

You will convert designs and specifications into computer code.

You will compile code into programs and correct errors detected in the compilation process.

You will create test transactions and run tests to find errors and confirm that the program meets specifications.

You will analyze codes to find causes of errors and revise programs.

You will write and maintain documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes and corrections.

You will provide technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions
with programs.

You will perform maintenance of existing custom software.

You will monitor performance of programs after implementation.

Our Ideal Candidate:

Has significant experience working with C#, .NET, Javascript, SQL, HTML, XML, Ember Js or related scripting languages.

Has Relational Database Design experience.

Has Object-oriented programming experience.

Has Web Services experience

Has a Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related degree.
