Systems Analyst
A Systems Professional to help design, implement, maintain, and support fast growing systems and infrastructure to meet business objectives and defined SLAs
Responsibilities
Manage and support system operations, monitoring, helpdesk ticketing, projects
Monitor the performance and health of servers and databases. Monitor server deployments to ensure uptime and performance.
Provide support, documentation, and guidance to vendors to ensure they are meeting their goals.
Provide deep (Tier-3+) resolution for complex Windows server issues. Act as a liaison between the business and outside vendors to ensure proper resolution.
Provide technical expertise in the setup, optimization, and monitoring of Microsoft SQL servers.
Ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneous with overlapping deadlines.
Ability to orchestrate mass network changes through a combination of industry tools and scripting.
Work within a change control environment to effectively communicate, document, and implement change.
Build runbooks for various servers to allow for effective Service Desk and "remote-hands” troubleshooting.
Support user's needs, including troubleshooting, account maintenance and training
Help lead systems team operations to sustain efficiency goals and contribute to strategy
plans/implementations in line with future growth
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
At least 4 years hands-on experience with Microsoft Servers, supporting Windows in enterprise
environment
Thorough understanding and providing support of Microsoft Active Directory and related systems,
Windows AD, Group Policies,
Experience with Scripting including Powershell , along with others
MCSE or related Windows certifications highly preferred.
Microsoft SCCM Administration and Troubleshooting, Patching
Understanding of virtual environments and associated networking (VMware, Citrix, etc).
Understanding of cloud environments such as Azure and AWS. Security, Idenity Access
ITILv3 Certification or experience working in an ITIL environment preferred.
Able to work in fast paced environment, multi-task, project completions
