    Enterprise Sales Engineer

    California, Remote

    $150-$180k/yr. FTE

Then, this might be the position for you! Our client, a leader in cloud monitoring and analytics, is looking for an Enterprise Sales Engineer.

    This position will be part of a team of SEs who will help qualify and close opportunities with clients and partners and will constantly collaborate to share knowledge to continuously advance their technical skillset.


    Partner with Sales Team to articulate the overall value proposition, vision and strategy to customers.

    Own technical engagement with customers during the trial phase.

    Communicate value based on activities and work with customers on any identified issues or concerns to successful conclusion.

    Technically close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.

    Deliver product and technical briefings / presentations to potential clients.

    Assist organizations in improving agility, increasing efficiency, and providing end-to-end visibility across the application and organization.

    Maintain accurate notes and feedback in CRM regarding customer, input both wins and losses.

    Proactively engage and communicate with customers and business/technical teams regarding product feedback and competitive landscape.

    Directly impact growth in the security monitoring space and public sector

    Travel 30% of the time to conduct onsite client presentations and demos

    What you will bring

    Programming/scripting experience in any of the following: Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.JS, PHP, and .NET, etc.

    Minimum of 3 years in a Sales engineering or DevOps engineering role.

    Strong knowledge of current infrastructure and monitoring solutions and technologies.

    Passion and ability to educate customers on observability risks that are meaningful to their business.

    Ability to build and execute an evaluation plan with a client.

    Exceptional written and oral communication skills. This role requires an ability to understand and
    articulate both the business benefits (value proposition) and technical advantages of our offering.

    Bonus points if you have

    Previous experience selling into public sector

    Previous SIEM experience

    Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Mesos or other container technologies.

    Experience in systems administration: Windows, Linux

    3 years of Sales engineering experience or 8+ years of DevOps/engineering experience
