The Restaurant Systems Manager must be capable of performing both the role of a strategic thought leader able to assess the current state and help define the future state, as well as someone who is a hands-on tactical player able to implement and support all facets of the company’s Restaurant Systems.
The role manages a small in-house team of support personnel dedicated to supporting restaurant systems and operators.
A critical component of this role is the ability to act as a single point of contact partnering with peer department stake holders, gathering business requirements for initiatives, developing a solution set, and executing the tasks to deliver the solution.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant technical field preferred
7+ years of over IT experience, preferably in Windows environments
4+ years of Restaurant Systems and Point of Sale (POS) experience
IRIS preferred but Aloha is acceptable
Menu Management and POS configuration experience required
Experience with Restaurant Kitchen Systems software and hardware
Experience with creating and evaluating RFI/RFP and selection of new information systems solutions to deliver value driven systems to support overall business strategy
Experience with technology demands of opening/remodeling new business units
Able to deliver Best-in-Class customer service to both internal & external users.
Ability to lead discovery sessions and take user feedback to develop systems, tools, and processes to meet defined business needs
