Enterprise Architect
Dallas/Ft Worth Area
THE POSITION:
ICS is working with their global manufacturing client to hire an Enterprise Architect to join their team in the Dallas/Fort Worth, TX area! The ideal candidate will come from a B2B Global eCommerce background and apply their experience with modernizing eCommerce platforms, cloud migration, and continuous integration and deployment practice to help guide future direction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Leverages and adapts previous experience to create and implement development and CI/CD processes and technologies that empower our global Scrum teams to design, build, validate, release, and support a multitude of applications and services rapidly and frequently.
Champions microservices and other key development practices.
Provides guidance and real-world experience to our development teams that are implementing new modernization and cloud technologies and platforms for the first time.
Helps teams avoid pitfalls and bad practices.
Analyzes complex applications and their interrelations and makes recommendations for simplification, modernization, and microservice creation as appropriate.
Guides the development team on designing applications to be scalable, secure, stable, and easy to monitor through a variety of tools and applications.
Creates detailed and innovative architectural solutions, ensuring ease of deployment, feasibility, functionality, and interactions with existing environments and platforms.
Works closely with systems analysis team to create processes and documentation supporting new technology implementations.
Provide system architectural expertise, direction, and assistance to the development team.
Proactively uses good business judgment and communications.
Requires thorough understanding of web-based and middle layer Microsoft technologies.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 15 years of experience in service architectures, complex systems, architecture optimization, agile processes, and web development
A minimum of five years of work experience in areas of Cloud-Capable Solution Architecture and Dev-Ops evolution towards a modern and iterative software delivery methodology.
Must have knowledge and experience with C# with MVC, Net Framework 4.8, JavaScript, SQL Servier 2016, CI/CD, Cloud Services Architectures (AWS/Azure), Microservices Orchestration (Kubernetes), Web API/WCF/REST Web Services, Visual Studio 2019, Migration to Rapid Deployment Methods
Must also have knowledge of AJAX, Asure Dev/Ops pipelines or similar, JSON, MQ, SP/NET Web Forms, Scaled-Agile Methodologies
Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills. Strong analytical and reasoning skills that result in clear technical execution.
Self-starter and able to find issues and resolve them with limited direction
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Web Applications Preferred
