Job Description

Experienced IT Professional with IT Release Management experience in an IT software development environment.

The IT Release Manager is responsible for driving and coordinating IT project releases and regular Keep-the-Light-On (KLO) releases for business application capabilities.

The IT Release Manager will work closely with IT development teams, IT operation teams, and IT program managers to deliver high-quality IT application releases.

Influence and implement best practices consistent with an agile development methodology.

Support, Influence and implement best practices consistent with an Waterfall development methodology.

Establish E2E process , document, stand-up and facilitate Release Management process supporting multiple environments with multiple internal/external stakeholders.

Release notes experience in JIRA to propose process for incremental change vs feature release.

Collaborate and manage release processes across all functions within IT and with business stakeholders.

Provide oversight for deployment of releases into production environments through ensuring release readiness and adequate deployment runlist handoff to Service Delivery.

Integrate/align Release management process to Dev Ops model.

Support QA team for Defect Management & Reporting.

Experience with AWS or Azure environments

Strong problem solving and debugging skills are required, must be a self-starter and comfortable with a start-up like environment

Experience in Automotive background is preferred

Excellent communication skills
