Job Description

Full life cycle experience (requirements gathering through production deployment) in all aspects of modern data warehousing, ETL/ EL-T, and data modeling

Lead the design and development of ELT and Data Integration routines using Oracle BI Cloud Connector (BICC) and
Oracle Data Integrator Market Place (ODI)

Manage and administer Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL)/ EL-T processes to ingest various data sources into a centralized data lake.

Apply advanced comprehension of SQL to write, optimize, and debug database queries, procedures, and functions. Use relational database concepts and theories to cleanse data and identify anomalies which may lead to inaccurate reporting.

Profile, clean, and normalize large data sets for ingestion into a data lake using tools and programming languages, using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI12c), SQL and PL/SQL.

Design and develop or modify ELT Load Plans that load data for the Oracle ADW (Oracle Autonomous data warehouse) using Oracle ODI 12c and PL/SQL

Provide ELT performance tuning

Develop data strategies to successfully oversee data flow from ingestion to repository storage and then ultimately to dashboards, interfaces, tools, and other stakeholder databases.

Must Have:

5+ years of experience with theoretical and practical application, best practices, methods and techniques pertaining to building Enterprise Data Warehouses, Transactional Data Marts, Data Analysis, BI, and ETL/ EL-T techniques.

3+ years of experience with an ETL or ELT tool for data extraction, transformation and loading using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

5 years of experience in designing and implementing transactional and analytical data marts or data warehouse.

5 years of experience with writing and debugging complex SQL queries.

3 years of experience with converting data from and to XML, CSV, and JSON file formats

Experience ingesting data from cloud data sources like Oracle Fusion SaaS, Oracle EPM cloud, Workday, Concur, Salesforce etc.

Experience working with Oracle BICC, Oracle ADW and Oracle BIP

2+ Years of experience working with cloud DWH like Oracle ADW, Redshift, Snowflake

Well versed with dimensional data modeling and the construction of ETL or EL-T routines in a data warehouse environment.

Data warehousing and data modeling experience – cloud and on-premise – OLAP, Star/Snow Flake Schemas,
Dimensional Data Modeling, Fact & Dimension tables, Physical and Logical Data Modeling

3 years of experience managing complex data environments in a lead role architecting, designing and implementing
solutions based on business requirements.

Good To Have:

Experience with one or more of the following BI tools: Tableau, Oracle BI, Oracle Analytics, Power BI

Experience with Cloud Integration Platform (iPaaS) is a big plus

Strong Project Management skills and a functional knowledge of common business concepts (Finance/Sales/Supply Chain, Etc).
