Job Description
My client, a well-known institution in NYC, is seeking to add a Technical Recruiter to aid in a project.
The assignment is currently scheduled to go until March, 2021 but may be extended and has a chance to convert to a permanant opportunity.
Role and Responsibilities:
Utilize innovative sourcing technologies and strategies to find, connect with and recruit top tech talent for Engineering, Cybersecurity, Product/Project Management, and Infrastructure roles.
Parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes
Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
Responsible for the hand-off of applicable candidates to the Manager
Required Skills:
2+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience
Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
Technical sourcing experience
Must be able to communicate the Company’s technical requirements to potential applicants
Confidence to jump in and move on multiple open requisitions simultaneously
Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)
Proven track record sourcing passive candidates
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must possess strong organizational skills, be a strategic thinker and a self-starter
