Job Description

Our client is a highly reputable real estate investment firm.

They are seeking a candidate with great interpersonal skills and experience in audit and/or accounting for real estate funds.

This firm has a terrific management team, an attractive work/life balance, and a track record of promoting from within.

Responsibilities:

Update and review quarterly waterfall calculations, promote schedules, time weighted returns and internal rate of returns

Calculate quarterly asset management fees

Track cash flow and execute monthly funding to the properties

Review budget reports and prepare for consolidated report

Review capital expenditure schedules and collaborate with portfolio management and property management teams to validate accuracy

Review opening/closing journal entries for real estate acquisitions/dispositions

Put together investor reports and answer any questions from investors

Review journal entries associated with new loans, loan payoffs, and loan refinancing for external and internal loans

Prepare debt schedules on a monthly basis ensuring accuracy of interest payments and loan balances

Responsible for financial reporting on a quarterly basis

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

Approximately 5-8 years of audit and/or accounting experience for real estate funds

Excellent communication skills and the ability to present to investors
