IT ADMINISTRATOR
Mansfield, TX
ICS is working with a client in the Mansfield area, who is a major provider of technology focused on smart water management.
This person will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation /configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software within the operating environment of the organization.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and friendly individual who will directly interact with all lines of the business to deliver great service to internal customers.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Plans, coordinates, and implements all Microsoft operating system and related software
Provides high quality support for VMware system and network administration
Supports all server and network related problem troubleshooting and resolution
Maintains production operations on backup systems and system recovery processes and procedures
Administer Office 365 users including E-Mail, SharePoint, and all Office products.
Provides technical consultation and support to users; performs system / user account administration
Performs infrastructure and network improvements, upgrades, and repairs
Supports all production and user application computing environments in support of the company mission.
Monitors multiple project priorities. Other duties as assigned
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE YOU'LL NEED:
5+ years of experience in server and network administration, VMware virtualization and Exchange messaging
MCSE certification desirable.
Knowledgeable in the implementation and support of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS and LDAP services
Experience with VMware and vSphere – if you have experience with clusters it's a plus
Excellent technical knowledge and aptitude in the areas of Microsoft servers 2008/2012r2, IP networks, and application file servers, and software troubleshooting techniques.
Exchange Online Administration
Technical understanding of internetworking architecture, and Internet / Web computing architectures highly desirable
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service, listening, and questioning skills
ISO2701 and audit/compliance
SOX 1/2 reports
SOC audits
IT Service Analyst
