Job Description

The Open Source Practice is seeking experienced Solution Architects/Senior Developers with advanced knowledge of different open source technologies. As a member of the Open Source Group you will be required to

Design and deliver presentations to our Customers and work with the presales team to respond to RFPs

Provide Open Source expertise to internal Wipro account teams working on projects.

Provide Open Source expertise to external clients by actively participating in a project engagements

Collaborate with Wipro COE to develop POCs for Open Source tools

Provide insight into the industry best practices and methodologies of different technologies through experience-based examples

Ability to match technical solutions to the business requirement

Understand and present Wipro IP around Open Source solutions

Contribute to the Open Source community as a representative of Wipro

Author white papers and blogs on specific Open Source topics

Identify opportunities for expanded Wipro presence in existing accounts

Learn about, articulate and demonstrate Wipro service differentiators

Scope projects and clearly define success criteria

Required

6+ years of technical experience.

2+ years as an Enterprise or Solution Architect or Team Lead using Open Source tools

Proven experience working on Production level projects using one or more of the following Open Source areas:

Enterprise Transformation with API & Microservice Architecture and design (SpringBoot/MEAN Stack/Netflix/Kong/etc)

DevOps with emphasis on Autonomous Software Delivery (Jenkins, Git, Maven, Sonar, Selenium, etc)

Monitoring and Observability (Elastic, Hygieia, Zabbix, Prometheus, etc)

Containers (Docker/Kubernetes/Rancher/EKS)

Cloud technologies such as Google, AWS, Microsoft Azure

PaaS Platforms

NoSQL Databases (Cassandra, Couchbase, MariaDB, Riak, etc)

Experience developing solutions and lead/contribute to POCs

Able to handle rapid changes to priorities

Experience working on large global enterprise project, as a consultant preferred.

Experience working on RFPs and PoCs as a part of a team

Strong oral and written communication skills
