Job Title: Senior System Test Engineer Big Data

Multiple Location : Palo Alto, CA / Bay Area, CA

Contract

Job Description: Seeking a Senior Wireless Test Engineer to work within a Big data team in a Tier 1 Carrier.

The consultant will serve as the primary person responsible for validating software integrated on target devices against mobile network simulator or live network.

We are looking for people who are driven by releasing high quality solutions and solving challenging validation problems with creative solutions.

Required Qualifications

Strong experience with wireless telecom protocols validation (5G, LTE, GSM/UMTS, VoLTE, Wi-Fi)

3+ year of embedded software test experience with a solid track record of validating wireless protocols for internal and external customers

3+ year of Android App (APK) or Android Device Test Automation Experience

3+ year of experience using Rohde & Schwarz CMW500 network simulator or similar equipment

Deep understanding on the key aspects of embedded software validation and debugging tools (logcat, QXDM, PCAP, Network Simulator log)

3+ years of experience with Java, Python with strong code debugging skills

Some script language (bash, shell) knowledge required

Demonstrable experience of complete mobile device/application test cycle from product requirement definition to customer release

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong understanding on testing required to validate product requirements
