Job Description

Our client is going through aggressive growth and looking for an additional resource in their Middle Office

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the monthly NAV closure of the private and public pooled vehicles and enhance NAV controls

Design, develop and manage the fund administration technology infrastructure supporting private and public pooled vehicle products

Preparation and review of financial statements in accordance to US GAAP

Manage annual fund tax preparation activities

Manage aspects of Financial Reporting as needed such as Financial Modeling, Performance Reporting etc.

Manage relationship of third-party service providers and vendors to ensure execution of duties to the highest standard (Fund Administrators, Custodians)

Maintain investor capital commitments and manage cash projections for Alternative Fund Portfolio Managers

Liaise with Client Service Group and Sales team to facilitate investor requests

Participate in developing policy and procedure framework for managing a growing pooled vehicle business

Interact with various internal teams such as Finance, Performance Reporting, Investor Relations, Legal and
Portfolio Managers to support data delivery and resolve accounting issues

EDUCATION/ACCREDITATION:

Bachelor degree in Accounting

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

Five (5) or more years of experience in fund accounting, fund operations or Public Accounting

Previous experience leading projects with internal teams and third-party vendors

Knowledge of structures associated with hedge funds / private equity funds

Understanding of private fund operations and offering docs and the intricacies of private equity funds

Fund accounting and facilitating fund audit experience is a plus

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint and Visio also preferred
