Job Description

Recruiting for an Accounting Manager to lead all accounting activities to include financial reporting, financial planning and analysis including budgeting and forecasting, inventory reporting, cost accounting and shared service functions.

This role is highly visible and will require a hands-on approach.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager

Prepare, maintain, and ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with standards set by IASB, IFRS guidelines, and US GAAP.

Responsible for monthly financial closings and financial statement reporting and present and discuss key financial metrics to plant management.

Prepare account reconciliations monthly.

Maintain an internal control environment and implement compliance initiatives.

Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual forecasts and maintain budgets.

Assist management in determining and evaluating trends and variances.

Analyze data and inform management of changes in cost trends, perform material cost analysis, and customer profitability.

Produce ad hoc reports and queries for corporate and plant management.

Prepare monthly cash flow and expenditure forecasts.

Requirements of the Accounting Manager

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

3+ years of accounting leadership focused on monthly closing and reporting in a manufacturing/industrial setting.

Experience with general accounting practices from preparation, maintenance, and oversight of financial statements, cost accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, accounts receivable and payable, and general ledger management.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products is required.

Strong knowledge of internal control principles and practices.

Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
