Summary

Our client is the leader in unstructured and semi-structured data governance software, which is any human generated data that is within a company's environment.

Their goal is to protect companies most sensitive information from insider threats and cyberattacks.

They do this by allowing organizations to analyze, secure, manage, and migrate their volumes of unstructured data.

They are currently looking to add a Cloud DevOps Engineer to their Engineering team.

This position will be based out of Portland, OR.

Responsibilities

Be part of a R&D DevOps team maintaining a diverse 24/7 production environment in the cloud, supporting data security platform that protects cyberattacks and insider threats.

Managing development and production environments based on Microsoft Azure.

Examination and implementation of new cloud technologies and open source tools to improve our DevOps processes.

Developing tools and automation for configuration, deployment and maintenance of our cloud environments while preserving high level of reliability for IaC processes.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps engineer or at least 5 years of experience as a system administratorengineer with strong programing or scripting capabilities.

Expertise on at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS or GCP (Azure is an advantage)

Strong scriptingprograming skills with at least one of the following languages: PowerShell, Python, Bash (PowerShell is an advantage)

Proven experience with Window or Linux operation systems (configure, troubleshooting and deployment)

Good understanding of infrastructure related components and protocols: Active Directory, DNS, TCPIP,
Load balancing, PKI, Firewalls and routing.

Experience with configuration/provision tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

Familiarity with CICD tools and version control (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOpsTFS, Git, Nexus/Artifactory)

Ability to manage multiple projects of varying scopes concurrently, while meeting all timelines. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Advantages:

Experience with the following Azure services: Service Fabric cluster, VM Scale set, Storage account, Azure
AD, Event Hub, Azure SQLSQL Managed instance, Log Analytics and Kusto query language, Azure
Kubernetes cluster, Key vault, Automation account, Azure Function.

Experience with analytics and monitoring technologies.

C#.Net programing experience.

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Information Systems Technology or Computer Science – advantage
