Director Of Engineering Colorado $150,000-$180,000 DOE Fulltime role Our client has an immediate need for a highly-skilled Director of Engineering. This position is working with a creative agency and leading their software teams. They're looking for a self-starter and one who can bring new & unique ideas to the team. They're looking for someone who is willing to help grow the team and collaborate with other leaders in their organization to deliver top quality products for their clients. Requirements: - 10+ years of overall experience (at least 2 in a leadership role) - Ruby/ROR or Node.js backend experience - React, Redux, Vue frontend experience - History of mentoring & guiding software engineers - AWS Cloud Responsibilities: - Building small high-performing teams around projects - Helping teams turn that high-level estimate into bite-sized feature tickets - Goal-oriented career planning and growth - Translating technical concepts clearly and confidently to C Suite level executives - Keeping teams on track & knowing when to reevaluate team process - Forecasting resource timelines to predict hiring needs - Estimating/scoping software builds at a high-level - Tracking sprint health and making that data transparent to the team/client Bonus: - Native Mobile Development, iOS & Android - React Native
