Job Description

Our client has an immediate need for an IT Business Systems Analyst - HRIS to provide support for current and future applications, assisting with department needs to analyze, design, and maintain company HRIS and reporting. This position will be filled initially as a contract role, with the potential to join as a full-time employee depending on an individual’s performance and company fit.



Job Duties:

- Serves as the dedicated, primary technology point of contact for the VP of Human Resources and the overall Human Resources department.

- Work with various HR/other departmental team members to translate analytical findings to simple and targeted business focused actions.

- Analyzes, designs, and developments HRIS solutions through standard SDLC processes.

- Partners with HR and other business partners to test functionality, deploy the approved functionality, and support the functionality.

- Identify system and process requirements, conduct gap analyses, and clarify and deploy solution objectives by outlining technical specifications, module development and testing, dynamic reporting, user guides, and virtual and live training.

- Devise or modify procedures to solve business problems using good information technology techniques, keeping in mind the capacity and limitations of the hardware/software, system response time, and form of desired results.

- Monitor performance of program after implementation; improve and enhance system efficiencies and processes over time.

- Serves as backup for other Oracle Cloud ERP/EPM modules (Accounting, FP&A, Procurement) and works with team members to ensure system support and uptime.

- After hours support is an additional responsibility shared with others in the group.

- Will work non-traditional hours as needed, O/T is a potential based upon business and project needs.

- Researches, evaluates, analyzes, maintains, and monitors company HRIS summaries and reports.

- Ensure data is accurate.

- Design and deliver complex datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.

- Build out data analysis infrastructure to help the team become more efficient, systematic and scalable.

- Translate business needs into data modeling, analytical or tool-building initiatives.

- Ensures security protocols regarding information systems are in place and followed.

- Regularly works under deadlines.

- Deals with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy, and professionalism.

- Speaks clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal skills and listens carefully.

- Maintains a regular, dependable attendance and a consistently high level of performance.

- Maintains a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.

- Other daily, weekly, monthly, or special project duties as identified and defined.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of five (5) years direct work experience in an HRIS role or a related discipline may be considered as a substitute for a degree.

- Minimum of seven (7) years overall HRIS experience.

- Successful candidate will be someone who understands the confidential nature of HR data and how to properly protect, interact with and share information with stakeholders while protecting the company and its data assets.

- Three-to-five (3-5) years’ experience developing, testing, and supporting analytical solutions leveraging Oracle HCM OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), MS Power BI, and MS Azure Hyperscale.

- Three-to-five (3-5) years’ experience developing, testing, and supporting SQL scripts and complex queries for data analysis and extraction.

- Strong understanding of SDLC (systems development lifecycle), systems integrations and general interface design, development, and testing.

- Full-time remote work for this position is viable; if a remote worker, prefer someone with experience successfully executing their role remotely.

- Analytical thinker able to utilize functional understanding of the various components of systems in conjunction with technical knowledge to identify effective and efficient problem resolutions.

- Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills; must communicate effectively with all levels of company personnel.

- Ability to work well both individually with minimal supervision and in a team environment where the sharing of knowledge is highly regarded and expected.

- Ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines.

- Good interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate systems requirements verbally and in writing.

- Experience in effectively communicating business and technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Advanced proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.



Preferred:

- Preference for a candidate with large scale implementations of an HCM solution, strong preference for an Oracle Cloud HCM implementation.

- Oil & Gas industry experience a plus.

- Oracle HCM Cloud Certification strongly preferred

- ADP Workforce Now experience a plus
