Job Description
Creating end to end pipelines that include Java component builds, Docker image builds, and scans (Sonar, Veracode, Black Duck, Sysdig)
Updating our Docker build approach to properly use image layering (goal is to allow teams to develop code in parallel rather than have serial handoffs from team to team, where each team re-builds the images)
Capturing metadata within the application images (including version, compatible APIs, versions of required dependencies, etc.)
Between them the two architects should bring extensive hands-on experience with: Docker, OpenShift, Helm, Kafka, Oracle, Hadoop, Spark, Flyway.
Responsibilities will include:
Creating pipelines to do automated Helm deployments, including support for env-specific data
Automating multi-tenant setup of Kafka / Hadoop and deploying updates to them
Expanding our Flyway-based Oracle updates to support flexible version updates and reliable rollbacks
