Job Description
Responsibilities
Perform daily functions related to the clearing house processing cycle (e.g., processing of margin transactions, physical deliveries, option expirations, margin investments and account reconciliations)
Develop relationships with Clearing Members to foster a dialogue to improve day to day processes and obtain input and feedback on potential new products as well as product and process enhancements
Participate in projects and help coordinate with internal partners such as Treasury, Commodity Operations, Technology, Compliance etc., to streamline operational processes as well as ensure adherence to all policies and regulations
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree is required
3 years or more of experience in derivatives operations at a financial institution, preferably in futures operations
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must be detail-oriented and apt to working in a controlled yet fast-paced environment, effectively
Knowledge of financial markets
Experience with streamlining and automation of the processes is a plus
Experience with project management is a plus
