Engineering, or related Engineering
Relevant safety personnel certifications (e.g. CFSP, CFSE, or equivalent)-preferred
Prior automotive (required) industry experience in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), e-Mobility, or autonomous driving vehicle, system, or component development -desired
Experience with requirement documentation and systems engineering principles and techniques
Experience with engineering and quality design and development methodologies: (8D, FMEA, FTA DVP&R)
Direct or coordinated software development experience
Engineering tool MatLab, Simulink, MS Visio, INCA calibration tool, Software configuration management tools
Software and electrical testing tools (Canalyzer, HILs, VILs, etc.)
Experience with Vehicle, Powertrain or Engine Controls System design
Experience in functional areas, such as Cybersecurity, Electric Vehicle Electronics, Autonomous Electronics (Radar, Lidar, Camera, Autonomous processor, etc..), Functional Safety (ISO26262), Vehicle Communications and Network
Experience developing in safety critical regulated industries (aerospace, medical, automotive)
Demonstrable working knowledge of functional safety development processes needed to meet the requirements of the ISO 26262 standard or adjacent market standards such as IEC 61508.
Strong talent for carrying out both inductive and deductive safety analyses. Familiarity with common analysis techniques such as Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) is required.
Active or previous CDL (Commercial Driver License) experience
Domain development experience in system design (e.g. steering, brake, ADAS controls, perception sensors, body, HMI, etc.)
Ability to learn fast, and to take ownership of assigned systems
