o Experience as a Progress Open Edge developer having strong programming skills with object-oriented programming skills as well as development patterns such as but not limited to:• Experience with Relational Database structure and Database Administration• Experience with Unix and Windows operating systemsExperience with Test Driven Development and automation of processes a pluso A deep understanding of how to document program design, coding, and maintenance.o A strong knowledge of the relationship between software and hardware interaction.o A good knowledge of programming (i.e. program design, flowcharting, coding, testing, debugging, etc)o Good understanding and hands on experience of developing RESTful Services.o Should have good understanding about penetration testing.o Strong Verbal and Written Communication and Interpersonal Skills.o Familiarity with Microsoft® Word & Excel.o Willing to work as part of an agile development team in which collaboration is required.o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and a motivation to achieve best-in-class results.o You should have good knowledge about object-oriented software design, data modelling, and design patterns.o Strong in resolving architectural problems including scalability, performance, reliability, usability & security.o Ability and willingness to learn new languages and processes as needs arise.
