Job Description
Client's Enterprise Architects (EA) are savvy, strategic technology consultants that serve our large, global clients as we envision and design transformational digital & IT strategies and solutions for their enterprise ecosystems with focus on Life Sciences domain. They will join the client EA Practice and be part of the Selling & Delivery team.
EA Consultant would provide architectural point of views & insights as part of a multidisciplinary consulting services for our clients.
EA Consultant is expected to design and present "best-in-class" Enterprise Architecture that enable business capability and objectives.
EA Consultant would get to work with business and IT stakeholders to conduct several activities like Enterprise Architecture IT analysis, gap assessment, maturity mapping, future-state architecture definitions, EA Governance operating model and more in digital, machine learning, data and analytics space.
EA Consultant will propose the future state Enterprise Architecture along with the detailed Roadmap
EA Consultant will perform Technical Evaluations on specific IT Planning Use Cases; i.e., Cloud Assessment, Platform / Product / Tool selection
EA Consultant will customize and apply Industry EA frameworks like TOGAF/Zachman/ArchiMate in a pragmatic way to address client needs.
Required skills:
Have 5-10 years of experience in an IT or Management Consulting firm or Enterprise Architecture function
Life Science Industry experience is a plus
Experienced with IT Architecture Planning Consulting & Evaluation
Experience and understanding of frameworks and modeling specifications like TOGAF/Zachman/ArchiMate.
Project implementation experience in any Digital, Cloud, Data & Analytics space (AWS or Azure or Google cloud).
An appetite for continuous learning and research to understand technology trends and their impact on the enterprise technology landscape
An ability to formulate and present strategic points of view on relevant industry trends and enterprise digital strategy
Experience in Technology evaluation space (compare & contract technology options for business context)
Experience setting up or using Enterprise Architecture platforms like Mega HOPEX, Erwin, Planview etc..
Must have IT Planning and Implementation experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills with a high degree of ability to communicate complex, forward-leaning technology concepts to its clients
Superb consulting skills that include active-listening, tact, negotiation and an ability to influence through fact-based reasoning
Others:
Candidates should be able to convince the customer as to how their prior experience aligned to the needs of the role. Should have the necessary strategic / advisory consultative experience.
During the interview should be able to give well-structured explanations, adequately formulate and structure their responses. Should be able to clearly explain how they had done things in the past; e.g. assessments, IT Tool Selection based on a specific framework.
