• Writing, testing, debugging new and existing java code based on program specifications• Analyzing the impact of change to existing java components• Making recommendations to improve existing systems and programs• Communicating with business analysts and systems management• Following an established configuration/change management processesMandatory Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in computer science or related technical disciplineor the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or work experience• 3 years' experience with Java and web application development• 3 years' experience with JBoss (EAP6), EJB, JSF, web services, DB2, XHTML, and JavaScriptKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Experience in banking, financing, insurance, and retirement processing• Experience with Linux• Experience with Ant/Cruise Control, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins and/or Team City• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Visio• Skill in designing and using effective testing procedures• Ability to work independently• Excellent communication skills
