Job Description
• Writing, testing, debugging new and existing java code based on program specifications
• Analyzing the impact of change to existing java components
• Making recommendations to improve existing systems and programs
• Communicating with business analysts and systems management
• Following an established configuration/change management processes
Mandatory Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited school in computer science or related technical discipline
or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, and/or work experience
• 3 years' experience with Java and web application development
• 3 years' experience with JBoss (EAP6), EJB, JSF, web services, DB2, XHTML, and JavaScript
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Experience in banking, financing, insurance, and retirement processing
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with Ant/Cruise Control, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins and/or Team City
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Visio
• Skill in designing and using effective testing procedures
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills
