Job Description
Architect, design, and develop enterprise level software applications; work closely with customers to understand business objectives; analyze system flow, data flow, and work process; identify problems with existing systems; translate business requirements into technical specifications; conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility analysis; recommend appropriate solutions while taking into account cost and time constraints; conduct object-oriented programming; develop and implement application programming interface for Microservices-based architecture; migrate monolithic application to Microservices-based architecture solution; deploy software applications; conduct system testing and integration testing; analyze test results; identify and report bugs; manage bug fixes; maintain and enhance application performance; ensure applications developed are secure; offer technical guidance and support to software engineers; prepare design documentation; and provide application support. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field of study and five years of post-baccalaureate and progressive experience in software design. Five years of work experience in software design, development, and implementation using Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Rest API, ReactJS, Kafka, and NoSQL/Cassandra. Work in San Jose, CA. Travel and/or relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the US may be required.
