The Technical Program Manager will work with an automobile manufacturer and other project-related companies.Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planningDesigning/developing web, software, mobile apps, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POC's)Act in a technical leadership capacity: Mentoring junior engineers, new team members, and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problemsEnd to end engineering design, development, testing, deployment and operationsManage customer expectations and coordinate with team and SMEsWork cross-functionally with various business teams: product management, various product lines, or business units to drive forward resultsContribute to the design and architecture of the projectExperience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies Skill SetAt least 10+ years' experienceBS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.Strong technical skillsStrong experience in one of the leading Javascript Frameworks OR Strong experience in back end programming in Java / Java EE, SpringbootHave at least 3 years for experience in product managementSolid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong understanding of the Software design/architecture processExperience with unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD)"Proven working experience in technical project management (minimum of 6 years)Must have managed Java based projectExcellent client-facing and internal communication skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skillsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft OfficeKey Skills: Program Manager, OEM, Telematics systems, Scrum, Agile, Java / Java EE, Springboot, product management.
