Job Description

7+ years of device driver design and development

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (EE) Computer Science (CS) or similar field, Master of Science in EE or CS (Preferred)

Qualifications

The Device Framework Architect Engineer will work with a team of domain knowledge experts who are responsible for developing, testing, and supporting personal computer system designs. The engineer will provide design, implementation and validation of drivers required for HP device framework.

Responsibilities

Determine and define architecture and design approach
Design and Develop Windows drivers in C/C++ for a variety of devices
Develop, test and maintain code to ensure reliability and stability
May provide leadership/mentor to less experienced employees
Independently determine approach to solutions and get alignment from System Engineers
Required Skills

Highly proficient in Windows SW driver development
Highly proficient in with C, C++, Python, and other scripting languages
Highly proficient in WDM and WDF driver-level development techniques for Windows
Device Driver Debugging
Experience working on domains such as Power Management, Graphics, USB and PCIe
Experience with package installation management, version control systems, automated build processes, and software unit testing
