Two (2) years of professional experience in data governance, metadata management and data quality management. With a combination of experience in the following:Experience in writing business definitions for tables, data fields, attributes, etc.An understanding of data lineageTechnical writing skills in order to draft policies, procedures and standardsExperience in health and human services programsSubstitutions:A combination of work experience in the occupational field or specialized subject area of the work assigned to the job, which provided the same kind, amount, and level of knowledge acquired in the required education, may be substituted on a year for year basis for the bachelor's degree.A master's or doctorate degree from an accredited college or university in a field of study related to the work assignment may be substituted for the experience on a year-for-year basis.Preferred Qualifications:Professional experience in data governance, metadata management and data quality management.Experience with erwin Data Intelligence Suite and erwin Data ModelerExperience with Master Data Management tools (e.g. Informatica, Profisee, Semarchy, etc.)Expertise with one or more compliance frameworks such as NIST, HIPAA, FedRAMPFamiliarity with the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM)Experience with data in a research or evaluation settingExperience with building data visualizations and dashboardsExcellent verbal and written communicationCritical thinking and problem solvingAdvanced experience in Agile methodologies and framework.
