Job Description

External Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, MIS, or directly related field required.

Minimum 6 years of experience with SQL, Unix Linux and Windows scripting required.

Minimum 6 years of experience with integration tools required. Experience with Datastage preferred.

Working knowledge of one or more specified technologies required. Specified technologies may include Snowflake, Azure, Python, Java, MicroStrategy, Teradata, Datastage, Redwood, SQL. Strong oral and written communication skills required.

Good understanding of the theories and principles of systems development and the interrelationships of systems required.

Description:

Design, develop, document, and implement data mappings for ETL implementations.

Design, develop, document, and implement data modeling implementations.

Design, develop, document, and implement real time data integrations (ETL) for OLTP and OLAP systems.

Collects, analyzes, and interprets data to be used in program development to meet the defined user requirements.

Prepares detailed specifications for programs of moderate to difficult complexity.

Prepares development time estimates for assigned tasks and is responsible for meeting those estimates.

Updates or creates technical and user documentation.

Codes programs of moderate to difficult complexity, using recommended technologies.

Follows the established methodologies and standards.

Creates/Identifies test data to execute all functions of the coded programs.

Executes program testing and is responsible for its accuracy and effectiveness.

Develops and maintains technical efficiency in hardware/software and productivity tools and applies this knowledge to assignments.

Ensures user requirements are met and development occurs according to design.

Performs the analysis research and resolution of production program problems.

Responsible for maintaining, debugging, and modifying these programs.

Provides support on the Data Warehouse environment for system issues and participates in a rotation for off hours support with other members of the Data Warehouse team.
