Provides daily support for Fixed Income and equity front Office and Middle office. Single point of escalation for Investment systems related issues.
Day to day administrative management of critical trading systems, such as Charles River, Perform, Bondage, Bloomberg, Facset, Fiserv/Tegra, DTCC, MarkitEDM, Advent APX etc. (These are common COTs products within asset management space, so the right person will be aware of these. It’s okay if they don’t have it all)
Strong experience with above mentioned platforms, which includes support, configuration, and troubleshooting
Ability to understand processes, data sources, and interdependencies between various applications to support Front Office from opening to close of trading day
Hands-on experience of Upgrade/Patch activities
Knowledge of the FIX trading protocol and its use
Demonstrable knowledge of investment securities such as, Equity, Fixed Interest, and/or Derivatives, etc.
Willingness to quickly learn different systems and applications for support and maintenance
Technical Application support specialist to interface with client service desk, provide analysis and understand issues to provide solutions / resolutions in a timely manner.
Analyze and coordinate resolution of data-related production issues for Order Trade Management platform.
Maintain adequate communication with clients and IT management, act as liaison between business, vendors and other support teams.
Manage incidents and service requests as they related to Equity and Option trading for the Private Bank to maintain a stable production environment
Team player with strong communication skills

Strong expertise on SQL (complex SQL queries, stored procedure, triggers, etc.) preferably SQL Server.
Knowledge of job scheduling (e.g. Active Batch) and ETL tools (e.g. SSRS, SSIS) would be an added advantage
