Job Description

Communicating to Business: Informatica Admin can act as the brand ambassador in between the business and the multiple different projects teams that can involve Network, Application Support Team, Storage, Database Teams, and Unix teams.
Maintaining the standards: Make sure that the code can be synced in all the situations and environments.
Infrastructure Support: Responsible for QA, managing Development and Production environments.
Outages Handling:
Patch installation (Hot Fixes /Software's)
Password Changes
Network Changes
Restarting the Services or Bouncing Activities
Load Monitoring:
Re-start or Recovery in loads in all the case of any failures.
Monitoring the workflows whether the loads can be scheduled to the respective timings
Skills:
Strong knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter, Big Data Management and Power Exchange 10.x or higher administration on Unix/AIX/Linux and Windows server platforms in HA GRID environments, performing software installations, upgrades and code migrations between environments.
Strong experience in administering Informatica Data Integration (PC, PWX, B2B DT and DVO) and Data Management tools (MM, BG, IDQ) and Data Security Tools (Data Masking, TDM).
Strong experience and skill to administer and support Informatica Big Data Management platform integrated with Hadoop (Cloudera) landing zone as this platform is hosting HRConnect/HCMP application that is very time sensitive for payroll processing.
Hands on experience in different RDBMS like Oracle, SQL server and Teradata, Sybase and advanced connectors like SAS, MQ, and others.
Proficiency with Linux/Unix and ability to write moderately complex shell scripts (using ksh, sh, bash, etc) to support data integration tasks, database maintenance, automation and testing. Proficiency and extensive hands-on experience working with core infrastructure technologies such as UNIX, AIX, Linux, Windows, network, storage and performance management capabilities.
Experience with large infrastructure integrated implementations and coordinated upgrades. Experience writing monitoring scripts, queries, and automating system tasks.
Partnering with interface developers, UNIX, Production Control, Database Services, Web Services, Storage Management, Disaster Recovery and other IT teams as part of ongoing operations as well as related vendor teams.
Part of an on-call rotation providing support for critical production issues. Exadata and OS patching support for all EAS Informatica related Infrastructure
Quickly adaptive to standard KP policies/procedures for Change management, Compliance, SOX and other processes.
Troubleshoot application functionality, data quality, and performance related issues and executing/revising/manipulating UNIX, Linux, and SQL code to respond to different maintenance requests.
